Morse Signal Lab provides free, browser-based tools for converting text to and from Morse code, generating and decoding Morse audio, and practicing Morse code recognition through an interactive trainer. Our platform is built with care for accuracy, but it is informational and educational in nature.
These tools are intended for learning Morse code, practicing encoding and decoding, academic exercises, hobbyist exploration, amateur radio study, and general curiosity about coded communication.
Not for safety-critical or certified use
Morse Signal Lab is not intended for professional radio licensing exams, emergency signaling, maritime distress communication, aviation communication, military operations, or any certified technical or life-safety application. If you need Morse code for a regulated or safety-critical purpose, verify every translation independently through an authoritative source before relying on it.
We are not liable for outcomes resulting from the use of our tools in professional, regulated, or emergency contexts, since the site is not designed or certified for that purpose.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the translator, audio translator, and trainer responsibly, and not to rely solely on our outputs for critical or time-sensitive communication. You agree not to misuse or exploit the site, attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it, or introduce harmful code, malware, or automated scraping that degrades the service for other users.
You also agree not to use generated share links, exported audio, or translated output to distribute harmful, illegal, or abusive content, and not to copy, republish, or redistribute our written content, translation logic, or design without permission.
No account required
The core translator, audio translator, and trainer do not require you to create an account. Any preferences saved locally, such as light or dark theme, remain in your browser and are never transmitted to us. Intellectual property
The site design, source code, translation logic, and original written content on Morse Signal Lab are owned by us unless otherwise noted. Morse code itself is a public, standardized communication system and is not owned by anyone; nothing in these terms restricts your use of Morse code as a language or standard.
You may use the output you generate through our tools, including translated text, Morse code sequences, or exported WAV audio, for your own personal, educational, or commercial purposes. Personal, non-commercial use of our educational content (such as reference tables or blog articles) is permitted; bulk copying, republishing, or reselling that content without permission is not.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Morse code translations and audio decoding are provided for convenience and learning. Timing precision in generated audio, decoding accuracy from noisy or low-quality recordings, and character support can vary. Always verify translations independently before using them in any practical, professional, or safety-related context.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morse Signal Lab and its operators are not liable for incorrect translations, misinterpretation of output, timing or signal-based variations, device or browser compatibility issues, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
